Young People Are Provided Opportunities in the Arts in Murrieta, California

Today there are efforts to create opportunities for students to acquire creative enrichment, leadership, self-confidence and collaborative skills with the goal of an enriching experience and attaining self-confidence. To this end, students can develop additional skills needed to advance to higher arts training and education, thus being able to do well in a competitive marketplace. Such a venture to promote creativity was begun at the Temecula Unified School District of California in 2020. In doing so, those who promoted this venture provided for all ages to be able to learn the techniques and craft of acting, including Musical Theater in Murrieta, CA.

Because of an outpouring of responses to their project, the donors went on to provide for all ages to learn the craft and techniques of this art. Also, there was a conviction that the Temecula Valley area could benefit from further education in all the arts. The donors desired to help students of every kind–home-schooled and online as well as those in the classrooms–to fulfill the California state’s Education Core Standard’s requirement of the Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA), such as musical theater in Murrieta, CA. This program was sure to help those seeking a career in the arts. For, it provided students the expertise needed to advance to higher arts education enriching workforce development. Classes include Musical Theatre, Acting, Backstage Production, Creative Writing, Fashion Design and more. With their goal of the enrichment of students, the Strands made concerted efforts to recruit talented professionals in the field.
