The process of zinc nickel alloy plating is one of those newer options, and it offers an option that is within most regulatory standards, which makes a good choice for both domestic parts production as well as for parts marketed across the globe.

Combination of Layers

With most zinc nickel alloy plating, the nickel component is about 12 to 15% of the total deposit layer. This is applied directly on the substrate, with a passivate layer then added for increased corrosion protection, protection from wear and tear, and to protect the part from thermal stress and shock.

The result is a part or component that is extremely resistant to most types of applications and environments. These parts offer longer duty cycles and a very smooth and tough surface finish that is not damaged by bending of the part or component.
