The Subaru Crosstrek has always combined practical and economical driving with off-road capability. For 2024, it has been redesigned. While still retaining its standard all-wheel drive and solid fuel economy, the company has updated its infotainment system and improved its safety technology. Yet, where this third generation shines is with the addition of a new trim.
A New Trim Level
While the Crosstrek has been revamped for 2024, the newest trim, Wilderness, offers a significant change. Of all the trims the new trim level, this, the newest level, takes the capability of the Subaru Crosstrek in Passaic, NJ as a tough off-roader and magnifies it.
The Wilderness trim retains the standard Crosstrek AWD but increases the substantial ground clearance by more than one-half inch. To the mix, has been added all-terrain tires and suspension tuning. These plus a revised transmission, make the Crosstrek Wilderness capable of going farther off-trail.
To increase its attractiveness and durability, the Crosstrek Wilderness comes with water-resistant interior upholstery as well as an updated infotainment system. If you want to go where it is rough with more cargo, the Wilderness has this covered. It can haul a maximum of 3,500 pounds.
The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek
With the addition of this new trim, the Crosstrek has increased its ability to compete. The new Subaru Crosstrek continues to live up to its name. However, now owners can drive a version capable of handling the quiet streets of Passaic NJ but with its amplified wild streak, can go off-road like never before.
